There are few games in this world that are worthy of burning, even fewer that come with a price tag of just under $200 dollars Action 52 is in fact the only one that comes to mind. The unlicensed multicart was released in 1991 for the Nintendo Entertainment System in it’s closing days when everyone was preparing themselves for the juggernaut that would be the Super Nintendo to great hype. There was a comic, there was a cartoon planned with the poster boys of the cartridge, the Cheetahmen, the buzz generated by Active Enterprises was insane and upon release with it’s huge price tag, the game met it’s inevitable conclusion, tanking.
My Reaction to an Advertisement for the 3DS Kid Icarus game that opened with the Line “Introducing Pitt, Nintendo’s Newest Hero” …… Oh…Oh the rage.
Some time ago a developer named Quantic Dream wow’d the gaming community with a cinematic tour de force, Heavy Rain, a game I will unfortunately be reviewing someday, and while Quantic Dream’s game dropped heavily, the beauty of the game shone brightly. And so Quantic Dream return once again to wow us with a demo akin to the audition reels shown before Heavy Rain’s release, a Gorgeous video simply entitled Kara. This short animation is moving, and deep beyond it bloom effects, exploring something that we all hold dear as humanity and even though it is not a concept for any game currently in production, I personally hope Quantic Dream run with it in some manner as the story set up by this short would make a superbly mature and beautiful CG classic, even if it was as a full length movie. Enjoy
For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, HNNNNNGGGGGGHHHH
A Review Blog for those games out there that just didnt make the grade... or got sent to the special class and still failed.
Ever Since Games have existed there has been games that Reviewers and mass media have slated, some were correct in their judgement but there are quite a few games that are secretly gems branded with a a bad mark, So I have taken it upon myself to play these games the so called legendarily bad and see from an honest point of view wether they deserve to burn in the flames of hell (Most probably will) or should they be exhalted as the gaming valhalla no-one gave a proper chance.
